Organization Settings control how your organization is represented in the platform, how prospective GrandPals complete onboarding, and who can manage the program. Before beginning a new implementation cycle, review these settings with the appropriate people in your organization. This may include an Administrator, Program Coordinator, supervisor, or person responsible for volunteer screening. Your settings do not need to be final. Start with the requirements that normally apply in your community. You can return later if a school, residence, school board, or other partner requires something different.

Review your organization settings

Work through these sections in order:
  1. Organization Profile
Confirm your organization’s contact information, website, donation link, and logo.
  2. VSC Letters
Set up the organization letter used by GrandPals who need a Vulnerable Sector Check.
  3. Volunteer Onboarding
Choose the onboarding and screening steps prospective GrandPals must complete.
  4. Team
Confirm the Administrators and Program Coordinators who need organization-wide access.

Who can make changes?

Administrators can update Organization Settings. Program Coordinators can review the settings and manage programs, but an Administrator may need to make any required changes.

When are you ready to continue?

You are ready to begin setting up a program when:
  • Your organization information is accurate
  • Your initial volunteer onboarding requirements have been selected
  • The correct team members have access
  • You know which requirements may still need to be confirmed with a school or partner
You can return to Organization Settings at any time.
